Whether you represent a Fortune 500 company or you are an individual wanting to break into this field, we have the knowledge and expertise needed to streamline your efforts. We provide consulting, develop training materials, or perform custom design work. Please contact us for more information on any of these services.

    Areas of Expertise

  • Payload design and integration
  • Agricultural remote sensing
  • Ag/UAS industry insight
  • Multispectral camera systems
  • Digital SLR and MILC cameras
  • Camera lens selection
  • Available UAS platforms

Camera Calibration

Field of View offers a geometric camera calibration service. In this calibration, we image a checkerboard pattern so that the camera’s distortion and other parameters can be determined. We will send you the camera/lens specific parameter file that you can then use in programs such as Agisoft PhotoScan and Geotility.

Agisoft offers re-hostable node-locked and floating licenses. A PhotoScan license is NOT time-limited. A PhotoScan license includes 12 months of e-mail based technical support and entitles the licensee to free updates of the software up to the version 1.9.x. To support education in the field of photogrammetry, Agisoft offers educational licenses to educational institutions.

Node-Locked License
The stand-alone license is a re-hostable node-locked license, i.e. one license allows the user to activate the program at one machine only, however, the license can be transferred to a different computer if needed.

Floating License
The floating license allows the user to install the program on as many computers as desired and run it, at any one time, on as many systems as the number of licenses purchased indicates. One computing machine shall be designated as the “license server”; the license server utility installed on it will manage license distribution across the network of computers where the program has been installed.

Educational License
Educational licenses (node-locked and floating) are available exclusively to accredited educational institutions, their employees and students of such institutions. Only officially accredited educational institutions are eligible to obtain Agisoft PhotoScan educational licenses. This includes: universities, colleges, junior colleges, scientific and technical schools, vocational schools, and correspondence schools. Educational or Educational Floating licenses can also be purchased by students and officially employed teaching and research staff of officially accredited educational institutions. Any educational license prohibits all commercial uses of the software. Educational/Educational Floating and Stand-Alone/Floating licenses differ legally but are technically identical.
Agisoft PhotoScan Pro allows users to generate high resolution georeferenced orthomosaics and exceptionally detailed DEMs/textured polygonal models. The automated workflow enables a non-specialist to process thousands of aerial images on a desktop computer to produce professional class photogrammetric data.

To fulfill the georeferencing task the program needs either GPS coordinates associated with cameras, provided in an EXIF/plain text file, or GCP coordinates that otherwise can be used to achieve higher accuracy (up to 5cm). Camera calibration data can be calculated by the program (and exported if needed) or imported from an outer source.

Agisoft PhotoScan Pro supports a range of input formats including JPEG, TIFF, PNG. A wide range of output formats (GeoTiff, xyz, Google KML, Wavefront OBJ, VRML, COLLADA, PDF) ensures easy import to any GIS system for future photogrammetric analysis.
  • Aerial triangulation
  • Polygonal model generation (plain/textured)
  • Setting coordinate system
  • Georeferenced digital elevation model (DEM) generation
  • Georeferenced orthophoto generation
  • Georeferencing using flight log and/or GCPs
  • Multispectral imagery processing
Geotility uses the image associated position/attitude data that is generated by Field of View's GeoSnap systems to directly georeference aerial images and overlay them onto Google Earth™ background imagery.

Global Mapper offers an extensive collection of analysis and data processing tools in a truly affordable package. The specific version of Global Mapper you license may be used indefinitely. For the first year after purchase or upgrade, this perpetual license entitles the customer to download all inter-version updates to the software and to receive technical support.

Single Machine-Locked License
The user can de-authorize and re-authorize the license directly using the license manager, without having to contact Field of View or Blue Marble. Users are permitted to re-authorize the single-user, machine-locked license to a different machine up to two times per year. Any additional re-authorizations require the user to contact sales or technical support. Please be sure that a removal code (using the license removal tool found in the license manager), can be generated to verify a license has actually been de-authorized. This is required for all legacy license moves (14.x or higher).

Single Floating License
The floating license" is a portable license that may be transferred to any one workstation that is running the software in "Evaluation Mode". It may not be used concurrently or simultaneously between two workstations. The user must check-out and check-in the license via the license manager interface in the software. The user must remove and release the license file via the license manager interface in the software before authorizing a new workstation.

Ready-to-Go Payloads

Ready-to-Go Payloads

starting at $3450 USD

Our ready-to-go imaging payloads consist of a GeoSnap Pro or a GeoSnap Express pre-integrated with a digital SLR or mirrorless interchangeable lens camera (either true-color or converted to multispectral). The team at Field of View hand-picked the cameras to create payloads that are ideal for aerial mapping operations. These payloads are designed to be plug & play to help you get started imaging as quickly as possible.

Hassle-Free Geotagging
The GeoSnap systems detect image capture events and generate an easy-to-read text file containing camera position and/or attitude data. This file can be directly imported into leading stitching software such as Pix4Dmapper Pro and Agisoft PhotoScan Pro to streamline processing. The position data can also be embedded into the image EXIF data post-flight using Field of View’s Geotility software.

Intelligent Triggering
The GeoSnap systems are equipped with a variety of triggering options to best match your mission objectives. Distance-based triggering provides consistent along-flight-line overlap for efficient data capture. Other trigger modes include external input signal, time-based, and fast-as-possible.

Immediate Feedback
Use the GeoSnap system data logs in conjunction with Field of View’s Geotility software to quickly show your images in a geographic context so you can evaluate the success of your mission and make critical decisions immediately after your flight. This instant feedback helps you increase your productivity and gives you confidence in your operations. Click here to learn more about Geotility.
